1. The Wonderful Wonderful Food
It's a well known fact that people will gain at least 10 pounds over this upcoming holiday season. I am preparing for all of the tasty cookies, cakes, pies and Grandma's famous mash potato face stuffing to come now by loosing weight now.
2. All Of The Christmas Sprit
For around the middle of November to New Years Eve, there seems to be an abundant amount of Christmas spirt and cheer everywhere you turn. From the shopping malls and their towering decorations to all of our favorite television shows holiday specials people are often happier and in the mood for the season for giving, so many amazing things happening around all us!
3. Ooh Look At All The Presents
You know the thought makes you smile. We all remember how the excitement of opening gifts as a kid was so exhilarating, the weeks of waiting knowing you might have that latest gaming console or new shinny bike right there just under the tree. That when the day finally came everyone was up to open theirs at 4am. Now not just gift receiving but also the act of gift giving gives you the same rush of excitement.
4. Time Off From Work For The Holidays
Most every employee is lucky enough to get time off around Christmas. If the thought of a few days off doesn't make you happy, then I'm betting Mr. Scrooge might be your boss. As long as you use the time you have wisely you can't go wrong!
5. Cruising Through The Neighborhood Looking At Christmas Lights
Although this tradition is not as popular as it once was (cost of gas and electricity might be to blame) I still think it is a honored tradition we should all try to keep alive. They can really light up (no pun intended) a cold Decembers night and to help bring out even the most Grinch'est persons Christmas spirit. Make sure you get out and show your appreciation to the amazing houses especially if you have kids, they will love it.
